DELIVERIES: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL ORDERS PLACED ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Any reference to “Same Day Delivery” applies only to orders received prior to 11.00am. Please ensure all delivery address details are up to date and correct at time of order. If incorrect delivery details are given and a delivery needs to be returned to us or re-directed, an additional delivery fee ranging from $20 – $35 will be charged dependant on delivery distances.
We accept special instructions and / or specific dates that you request. We will do our best to accommodate these requests within our courier guidelines and delivery schedules. We sometimes use an external courier company for our deliveries so sometimes a delivery can be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control. Please be aware that late delivery is not a valid reason to request a refund for your order.
If no one is at the address to accept the order when the courier arrives, the order may be left safely at the delivery address. Affordable Balloons accepts no responsibility for goods left at the delivery address due to no one at home. A contact mobile phone number for the recipient is very helpful in these circumstances and can often avoid extra delivery delays, costs or goods going missing.
We believe that your goods should arrive looking as great as they did when they leave us. Your gift will be delivered by trained, friendly and professional staff so that your gift arrives in prestige condition. All balloons are inflated moments prior to being shipped and will be transported and delivered in balloon transport bags. This ensures balloons are not knocked around, popped or damaged during their journey. If a balloon arrives at its destination damaged or faulty, please call us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to replace it the next business day.
In the event that a product is not available, Affordable Balloons will substitute a balloon with a product of equal value. Please call us for up to date verification of stock.
Hospital Deliveries
Hospital policies vary and it may not be possible for our staff to make a delivery directly to the room of the patient. Many hospitals require that the balloons be dropped off at the nurses station, from which the balloons are delivered to the patient by the hospital staff. The staff may need to delay the delivery to the patient for any number of reasons. Please feel free to contact us if you have a concern about the status of your order.
Returns or Refunds
Affordable Balloons is more than happy to cancel any order placed and refund in full provided we are given a minimum 24 hours notice of cancellation prior to delivery date requested. Orders cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will attract a 20% return fee that is non refundable. This will be to cover costs of wrapping and preparations for your orders that have already been done.
NO REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE FOR CANCELLATIONS OF GOODS ONCE BALLOONS HAVE BEEN INFLATED OR HAVE BEEN DISPATCHED.
In the unlikely event that you feel we have not provided the gift that you have ordered, we will investigate the circumstances and if required, a partial or full refund may be issued duly. Affordable Balloons advises that we will not honour our refund policy or issue any refunds under any circumstances if issues are not reported within seven days since the order was placed.
Privacy
Affordable Balloons recognises the importance of privacy and understands concerns about the security of personal information. We are committed to protecting any personal information that may be obtained through our ordering process.. Affordable Balloons will not use personal information submitted via its website for any other purpose, and will not disclose such information to a third party, without your consent (even when someone rings to find out who sent an anonymous gift!!!)
